The Great Sacanadaga Pines Camp is on a 29 mile long, crystal clear lake located in the 6,000,000 Acre "forever wild" Adirondack Park.
Hike, canoe, boat, fish, ride mountain or road bikes, relax on the beach and swim, visit museums, fairs, festivals, concerts, shop artisan outlets or go antiquing. Enjoy the races at Saratoga Springs. Take yourself or the kids to Six Flags amusement park. Sit on the porch sipping drinks, enjoy an evening campfire or play volley ball with your friends and family. Relax or be as active as you want. On one end of the lake you can go horseback riding, whitewater rafting or tubing and on the other is the Adirondack Trail.
Some of the wildlife you may see on Great Sacandaga Lake or on the nearby Adirondack trail include: bald eagles, beavers, coyotes, fishers, bobcats, black bears, white tailed deer, common loons, mergansers, brook and lake trout, land-locked salmon and more.
