Great Sacandaga Pines offers 9 private, clean and well maintained rental cabins on a 13 acre wooded site of mostly pines. Located in Edinburg, NY on the shore of the Great Sacandaga Lake situated just 22 miles from Saratoga Springs. The camp is one of the nicest sites on the 175 mile shoreline, one of the Adirondack Park's largest bodies of water.
Part of Great Sacandaga Pines beauty is its 565' of shoreline consisting of a gently sloping sandy beach that our 9 rental cabins are either on or just steps away from. The knotty pine decorated cabins are nestled in among the (pine) trees on sandy grounds. Provided for our guests are row boats, volley ball, a campfire ring, private beach and swim area. The camp is ideal for family reunions or group outings.
Unwind or be as active as you want. Opportunity for activity abounds on the lake and throughout the area, with boating, swimming, biking, hiking, fishing, horse racing, golf courses and antique shopping all close by. On one end of the lake you'll find horseback riding, whitewater rafting or tubing and the other the Adirondack Trail. Roast marshmallows on the beach under the stars, watching the moon rise over the Adirondack Mountains.
Whether you choose to explore a new place everyday from your comfortable home base or just settle in to your cozy vacation hideaway on the lake, our accessible location will allow you more time to enjoy the many activities and events in the area. Great Sacandaga Pines is located just over three hours from New York City and Boston in the Southern Adirondacks.
