Arrival & Departure: Saturday after 3:30 PM check in.
Saturday before 10 AM check out.
Deposit: A $300 deposit is required to hold your reservation.
Payment policy: Your rental is due no less than 60 days prior to your rental date. If we do not receive your full payment at least 60 days prior to the beginning of your rental period we will assume you are no longer interested in renting with us.
Rental agreement: Please (print), read, acknowledge and return the rental agreement either by mail with your deposit. Deposit must be accompanied with the acknowledged agreement.
Cancellation: Due to our small size and short rental season we require at least a 60 day notice of cancellation. Within 60 days we will make every effort to replace the rental and if we're successful will return your deposit minus a $75 fee.
Boats / PWC's: Great Sacandaga Lake does not have any boat or Personal Water Craft restrictions. The camp allows renters to bring and use your own watercrafts as long as they are operated safely. Safety is our first concern. We will allow guests to moor their boats in the camp's designated area but will share no responsibility for the care or storage of your watercraft. Bring your own boat mooring.
Beach: We encourage you to use and enjoy our 565' of magnificent shoreline. We do not provide lifeguard supervision. Children must be supervised at all times on the beach Safety is our first concern. No glass is allowed on the beach.
Guests: Every overnight guest must be registered.
Parking: We provide for a parking spot at each cabin. Please let us know if you plan on having any additional vehicles, we should be able to accommodate you.
Pets: Sorry, no pets.
Smoking: No smoking inside the cabins.
Firearms: No firearms are allowed on the property.
Linens: We provide bed sheets, pillowcases, bath towels and blankets (Changed weekly).
Kitchens: Our kitchens are equipped with everything you'll need to prepare and eat your meals.
What else is provided? Five row boats available for guests (non-motorized) use on a first come, first served basis. Also available for our guests use is a campfire ring for evening, beach side fires, volley ball, horse shoes, picnic tables and beach chairs. Each cabin has a charcoal grill, screened porch and a picnic table.
Food and supplies: There are several good restaurants on the lake and in the area, a few accessible by boat and within a short drive. Within a 15 minute drive (in Northville) there is a grocery store as well as a hardware store and other smaller general merchandise stores.
Consider bringing: Beach towels, charcoal for the barbeques, paper plates, cups and plastic silverware as we do not have dishwashers. Your own life preservers. Also don't forget your, hiking boots, fishing gear, swim wear, hats, sunglasses, books, games (rain happens), sunscreen and bug spray and a portable radio. Coolers, picnic stuff and beach chairs may come in handy for a few fun adventures nearby (swimming holes, islands and waterfalls).
